Find out why most people who try our free session sign up for Regiment Fitness membership.
We wanted to know what our members like about our sessions so we asked them why they come, you can read what they had to say below. These are genuine accounts from active members of our sessions.
I’ve been going to exercise classes at my local gym for a few years, with the ultimate goal of losing weight and keeping fit. I love these classes, but I have a tendency to stick with my favourites and I’ve been feeling like I need to ‘mix up’ my routine a bit. I wanted to try something new, to really push my boundaries and to step out of my comfort zone for a change.Read More →
My first session with Regiment Fitness was a try before you buy offer and was on the 13th January in a wet and very muddy Pishiobury Park. I was so nervous, but I needn’t have worried Tom E was brilliant and put me at ease right away. I spent most of the session trying to keep my mud laden tracksuit bottoms from falling down and attempted 6 burpees in a row.Read More →
A year ago I gave birth to my twin girls which was an amazing thing but what wasn’t amazing was the strain it had put on my body. After buying a ‘family’ home and moving from London to Hertfordshire I decided to get into some kind of fitness routine. I eat a pretty balanced diet but had a good few pounds left that were proving tricky to shift.Read More →
I started a diet and fitness regime in September 2013 in preparation for my wedding and I was doing ‘ok’. Then I found myself single in May, so like any ‘dumped’ girl in her late 30’s would do, I turned to the salvation of wine, chocolate and plenty of takeaways to drown my sorrows. By the end of June I was miserable, heavier and sluggish and knew I needed a drastic change to my life.Read More →
Having tried various fitness classes and gyms which had not achieved the desired results, Regiment Fitness came along at the right time. After spotting a banner, we both thought it was worth giving it a go. For Angela it was not about losing weight, but overall fitness and toning and for Heather it was a bit everything. From the very first session we knew we had found something unique and challenging.Read More →
I decided in December 2013 that I wanted to start PT sessions, as one of my personal goals was to get fit & lose some of the weight that had gone on and come off over the years. I thought that at 45 I am not getting any younger and if I am going to do it then now was the time. I specifically wanted Graham for my PT because he was one of the only Regiment Fitness instructors I was scared of!Read More →
“My W.A.R. story started after the arrival of my second daughter. I suffered with post natal depression. Exercise was encouraged. So, a friend and I decided to do something different – gyms bore me beyond belief. I needed a new fitness regime combining fresh air, fresh faces and some all important encouragement where I could get fit quick.”Read More →
“I had got myself into a ‘bad place’ which peaked just over 4 years ago. I was massively overweight, had a bad diet, was a heavy smoker & the only exercise I got was stretching my arms when I got up in the morning. This combined with some genetics was something which saw me in hospital for a few weeks with life threatening blood clots on my lungs.”Read More →
“I remember I was pretty nervous in the days leading up to my first Regiment Fitness session not quite knowing what to expect! I must have worn an expression of absolute fear as I walked towards the Regiment Fitness van as I was greeted very warmly by Shaun the instructor and told “not to worry, great to see me and go at your own pace”.”Read More →
“My first insight into the world of Regiment Fitness was during last April’s W.A.R. I convinced a few netball buddies to sign up for the 5km team race and despite our initial shock at having to carry a log (a vital detail we’d missed in the small print) we had so much fun working together and getting each other up, over, through and around the obstacles.”Read More →
